Reception staff very friendly and efficient when we arrived.
One of the restaurant staff was quite rude when we asked for the “discretionary service charge” to be removed. The only reason we objected to this charge was because it was added to the drinks bill as well as the good. As the bottle if wine was only left on the table I do not believe there should be a tip added for this. We had no objections to giving a tip for the food and service. However because of the rude waitress, we left no tip and did not go for breakfast the next morning.
Also. Blind in our room was not working and after dinner we were given a key for an alternative room and told we could move when we liked!! No sssistance so we had to transfer our belongings before we went to bed!
